Nutella Fudge
Ingredients:
1/2 cup butter
1/2 whole milk
1 1/2 cups light brown sugar
1 1/2 teaspoons vanilla
1 cup Nutella
2 1/2 cups – 2 3/4 cups confectioner’s sugar
Directions:
Grease an 8×8 pan. Place the confectioner’s sugar in a mixing bowl and set aside.Melt butter over medium low heat. Add the milk and light brown sugar. Bring to a boil over medium heat and then boil for about 2 minutes, stirring constantly. Remove the pan from the heat and quickly add the vanilla and Nutella. Stir until the Nutella is melted.
Carefully pour the hot Nutella mixture over the confectioner’s sugar and mix quickly until completely combined. Once everything comes together, it will set pretty fast. Pour/scoop the fudge into your greased 8×8 pan. Press the fudge into the pan, if needed. Chill for 2 hours.
*One of my personal favorites. The fudge does turn out a bit gooey in consistancy (which is how I like mine) but if you prefer it a little more hard and solid try adding a little bit more powdered sugar.

Studded Jewellery & Accessories | Martha Stewart
I bought a ton of studs recently but they were so expensive that I still haven’t used them! But I totally adore these projects by Martha, especially the bracelets and the key chain. These would make really good Christmas presents!

I am really into eating and drinking healthy items. I do enjoy a good chocolate dessert and a buttery grilled cheese but I have a new job. My new job is in the beauty and fashion world and I really want to look good in my new cloths. I am glad I have the ability to dig into dirt on the weekends and then slip on black pumps to look smart.

Fold them into … other boxes! The “new” boxes could be used for gift-giving, or keep them to store your own small things.

DIY Goodbye Stinky Shoes Sachet Tutorial from Small Good Things here. This can be used in drawers, shoes etc… Emi also lists a link to a tutorial she made for a sachet for really stinky shoes that I posted last winter here. One holiday season I gave shoe bags (yes they sound boring but make great practical gifts that can be made with fun fabrics and used for jewelry, etc…) and these would be a good addition.

DIY Metallic Galaxy Tee Shirt Tutorial from By Hand London here. This galaxy tee tutorial is a little different because it uses metallic colors and bleach - so a different type of galaxy emerges. For more galaxy tutorials go here: truebluemeandyou.tumblr.com/tagged/galaxy
Also, I received a question about whether you could use bleach for a galaxy design using NYLON and did some research since I’ve only used cotton when dyeing. The answer is NO. What you can do and more info:
- You can use Rit Dye Color Remover instead here.
- The more scholarly article is here: www.pburch.net/dyeing/FAQ/nylon.shtml
- RIt Dye has a page on what their dye will dye and won’t here: http://www.ritdye.com/dyeing-techniques/tips-success It also states: about Nylon:
- To help achieve a more intense color, add 1 cup white vinegar to the dyebath, especially when dyeing in the washing machine. When dyeing smaller amounts of fabric using the bucket or stove-top method, add 1/2 cup white vinegar after the fabric has been in the dyebath for 5 minutes.
- Rit dyes nylon very easily and quickly.
- To avoid wrinkling, do not exceed a water temperature of 180º F.
- After dyeing, allow fabric to cool down before rinsing in cool water.
